Opening Day is Here!! Cypress Bay Lightning Took On St. Thomas Aquinas! Lightning Boys come home with the W in a 7-3 Victory!

• Cypress Bay Lightning Varsity put up three runs in the seventh inning.  Cesar Franco had an RBI home run in the inning to lead the run scoring.
• Tyler Nejaime got the win for Cypress Bay Lightning Varsity. He allowed four hits and three runs over five innings, striking out five.  Xavier Medina threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.  Medina recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Cypress Bay Lightning Varsity.
• Thomas took the loss for St. Thomas Aquinas. He lasted four innings, allowing zero hits and three runs while striking out one.
• Cypress Bay Lightning Varsity launched one home run on the day. Franco went yard in the seventh inning.
• Nico Boza led Cypress Bay Lightning Varsity with two hits in three at bats.  Cypress Bay Lightning Varsity didn't commit a single error in the field. Joaquin Monque had the most chances in the field with seven.
• St. Thomas Aquinas didn't commit a single error in the field. Mason Gates had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
