Cypress Bay Lightning Varsity Claims Lead In Sixth Inning To Defeat Mustang Baseball

Cypress Bay Lightning Varsity took the lead late and defeated Mustang Baseball 6-5 on Friday. The game was tied at four with Cypress Bay Lightning Varsity batting in the top of the sixth when Joaquin Monque singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs. Cypress Bay Lightning Varsity built a four-run lead in the fourth inning and then held off Mustang Baseball's charge. He surrendered zero runs on two hits over three innings, striking out one and walking one Medina led Cypress Bay Lightning Varsity with two hits in two at bats.
